Calculators

Running cost calculators

Annual kWh from any label × your electricity price. Australian pages also have a pool pump calculator using the label weighted energy factor. Your assumptions are remembered per country.

Government data, made useful

  • Official registration data

Every figure comes from the Energy Rating registration dataset (DCCEEW, data.gov.au, CC BY 3.0 AU), the shared trans-Tasman register administered with EECA for New Zealand, the WELS register for Australian water ratings, and supplier product information sheets validated against the GOV.UK energy label schema for the United Kingdom.

  • Imported, not retyped

Source file dated 2 October 2026, last imported 3 October 2026. Raw rows are kept; superseded values are retained with their dates; delisted products are marked, not deleted.

  • Calculations shown in full

Running costs are label kWh × your price. Percentiles and medians are computed against the same kind and size group in the same country. Each product page has a “How we calculate this” panel with the inputs and arithmetic.

  • No reviews, no rankings by opinion

We do not test appliances, write reviews or estimate figures the regulator has not published. Missing fields are shown as missing.
